Let there be work, bread, water and salt for all."
About Aqua-Africa
Aqua-Africa is dedicated to safe drinking water for the people of southern Sudan and sub-saharan Africa. We pursue this goal by drilling water wells for towns and villages, and establishing ongoing well maintenance.
Our co-founders are both from east Africa, and intend this organization to be "for Africa, by Africans". Therefore we engage regional expertise, labor, and materials to the fullest extent possible. This includes geologists, hydrologists, engineers, mechanics, freight brokers, and others.
Aqua-Africa is incorporated as a Nebraska non-profit, and has applied for federal 501(c)(3) status, which takes several months to be approved. In the meantime, Abide Networks has agreed to accept and process contributions for us, allowing donors to make tax-deductable contributions.
As an organization, we have no political or religous agendas. Our objectives are simply to improve the human condition in Africa and provide sustainable hope through developmental assistance.
