As an “Aqua Giver,” you are supporting the health, economy and environment for as
many as 33 people. Your gift will provide a combined 215 liters of clean drinking
water a day. The availability of clean drinking water prevents individuals from
consuming surface water that is contaminated with life-threatening illness such as
cholera, stomach worms and dysentery. This has a considerable impact on their health,
leading to productivity and well-being. Your support will also save these individuals
many hours every day, which they can invest in school, farming and infrastructure.
Finally, your gift will have an environmental impact by preventing people from cutting
down trees to use as fire wood to boil water for purification. Your gift, in combination
with Aqua-Africa’s dedication to provide civic education and foster democratic ideals,
will transform South Sudan’s desperate situation into an inspirational reality.
