Aqua-Africa’s Key3 program focuses on three areas of impact: clean drinking water,
MicroDemocracy, and resource management. Using this process, Aqua-Africa is able to deliver a
comprehensive, culturally appropriate approach to help advance rural communities. The Key3
approach uses clean drinking water as the foundation to administer a curriculum around
democracy and resource management education that is easy to understand, and effective.
This process allows Aqua-Africa to not only provide relief through reliable access to clean
drinking water, but to also foster citizen-led development that is inexpensive, and sustainable.
